The Light Workshop
Light is a study of the sun’s light and its importance for the earth. We go on to think about Newton’s contribution to our understanding of light and what experiments he did -using a colour wheel and then diffraction glasses.
The glasses, in particular, always get a great reaction as the children see the whole range of the visible spectrum floating all around them in the air.
This can also be linked to an element of our “Stars” workshop where the pupils make constellation maps to take home and be astronomers.
