CVs, personal statements, and interviews
Students will learn the do’s and don’t’s of CV writing. If they have already written a CV or personal statement, they will be taken through where they can make improvements.
Students will be invited to volunteer for two mock interviews, in between which there will be a workshop on how to improve interview skills.
A questionnaire will be sent prior to the workshop to assess needs, job sectors, and ensure a targeted approach.
Learn the do’s and don’t’s of CV writing, practise your technique in mock interviews, and refine your personal statements.
By the end of the workshop, students will:
- Learn the do’s and don’t’s of CV writing.
- Go through any current CV work to make improvements.
- Participate in two mock interviews – gaining key skills.
- Refine their personal statements where necessary.
