Immersive Experiences have been developing memorable workshops for years. Our Hands on Physics workshops are available both virtually and in-person for both schools and private party bookings.

Learn about the body, animals, plants, cells and more in a fun and interactive way!

Food Chains

  • Gain an understanding of the food chain, including how energy is transferred through organisms in nature.

DNA

A big, hands-on experiment extracting DNA from fruit with a million talking points and possibilities!
 
With a great DNA game in there too!

  • Gain an understanding of what DNA is made of, and why it is important to us.

Evolution and inheritance 

Human Bodies

During this session we look at the importance and role of our organs using stethoscopes and also study our senses with an awesome test.
 
Subject to availability we can even dissect a pigs heart!

Dinosaurs

Live the lives of paleontologists by excavating fossils before making a copy of a T-Rex tooth that you get to take home!

  • Gain an understanding of dinosaurs as animals, paleontology, and the techniques used to study dinosaurs.

Plants are incredibly important for our planet and for us. Learn funny ways to measure trees and take amazing leaf prints.

A ‘look’ at how our eyes work, using demonstrations of pupils, diagrams and…most interestingly…dissecting PIG’S EYEBALLS to  understand the different parts and functions of the eye.

  • Gain an understanding of how the eyes work, and its different components.

Biology Game

Biotical helps students understand the differences between Bacteria and Viruses whilst students become familiar with identifying types of infections for antibiotic usage.
 
Develops skills including communication and literacy. Promotes conversations about how we use medicine and the future of science. Reading and recalling cards help students progress in the game.

Workshop suitable for the following ages:

Ages 7+

45 – 60 minutes

By the end of the workshop, students will:

  • Gain an understanding of the differences between bacteria and viruses. 
  • Appreciate the uses of medicine and consider the future of science.
